Generative Drama Workshop Series: Skills for Community Conflict with Care
Spring 2026 TBD | Albuquerque, NM
What if we could build our skills to not immediately run away, freeze, blow up, or fawn in the face of conflict, and instead lean in? What if conflict was an exchange of information, rather than a power threat? What if conflict can deepen our relationships and help us get our needs met, rather than tear us apart into further isolation and grief? Join us in this four-part playful, interactive, and somatic workshop series to deepen your community conflict navigation skills. Through a combination of slides, movement, play, dyads, journaling, and song, these workshops will a) reframe conflict through a trauma-informed and abolitionist lens; b) explore the concept of centered accountability; c) build skills on feedback and boundaries as acts of love (rather than punishment); and d) practice how to give an apology, as well as forgive ourselves and each other. Bring a journal, water, wear comfortable clothes, and get ready to cry, laugh, and play!
